cherry creek state park with toddlersOur first campsite ever in our RV was Cherry Creek State Park. It was super nice there, although, the fall weather came in and we didn’t get to spend much time outdoors. We did get to have a campfire 2 of the nights, and we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. The kids preferred the marshmallows right out of the bag though.

The kids made their first campground friend, a 5-year old girl who was camped next to us. She even let Henry ride her big girl bike!

All in all it was a good little warm-up to our new lifestyle. We have still been super busy visiting family and making last minute adjustments to the camper, but I think soon things will start to get back to normal.

Now we are off to Chatfield for 2 nights, where we will spend Halloween with the cousins, and then we will be leaving the state on Sunday morning.
